Shenling’s technical support team recently completed a comprehensive preventive maintenance and training program for the Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) units at Florianópolis International Airport in Brazil.
Over three intensive days, the team conducted critical maintenance and inspections to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the airport’s PCA systems. The scope of work included detailed system inspections, electrical and refrigeration checks, operational parameter analysis, leak detection and correction, as well as refrigerant and oil charge adjustments.
Beyond routine maintenance, the visit also featured hands-on technical training sessions for the airport’s engineering and maintenance personnel. Through practical demonstrations and in-depth technical discussions, Shenling specialists shared valuable knowledge and field experience, helping to strengthen the local team’s capabilities in operating and maintaining PCA equipment.
PCA systems play a vital role in airport ground operations by supplying conditioned air to parked aircraft, reducing the need for onboard auxiliary power units and supporting more efficient, sustainable airport operations. By ensuring these systems remain in peak operating condition, preventive maintenance contributes directly to equipment reliability, asset preservation, and extended service life.
The successful completion of this project helps maintain the high operational standards that Florianópolis International Airport provides to airlines and passengers while enhancing the long-term performance of its ground support infrastructure.

Supporting this achievement is Shenling’s advanced PCA systems, which provide clean energy to aircraft while parked at the gate. By minimizing the use of onboard auxiliary power units, the system has helped avoid 2,734.7 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, an environmental impact comparable to the CO₂ absorbed by 21,000 Atlantic Forest trees.
