Shenling at CATES Beijing
On April 22, 2025, the Civil Aviation Technology, Equipment and Service Exposition (CATES 2025) opened at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing. The event spotlighted new concepts, technologies, models and innovations in intelligent airport construction, smart air traffic management and safety technology applications in civil aviation equipment. Shenling, a leading provider of Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) units, participated in the exposition and unveiled its new-generation Ice Storage PCA Unit.
Shenling Ice Storage PCA Unit
This unit is powered by electricity and features ice storage technology that produces ice during off-peak hours to store cooling energy. During peak demand, the stored ice is melted to deliver cooling, significantly enhancing load efficiency and reducing electricity costs. By utilizing off-peak electricity, the system lowers daytime peak demand, eases grid pressure and reduces environmental impact from fuel-based power generation.

The exposition centered on digital intelligence and green innovation, featuring three specialized forums on smart air traffic management, smart airport development and green airport development. In addition to launching a new product, Shenling showcased its integrated, intelligent energy solutions designed to optimize airport operations.
