Low consumption and energy saving
The Polestar EV air to water heat pump series has the ability to achieve regulation in four stages (25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%) in a single unit. With 16 modular combinations, they can achieve stepless regulation from 1.5% to 100%, allowing for precise output control even under partial load conditions and reducing overall system energy consumption.
Reliable operation
●Enhanced heat exchanger efficiency
The heat exchanger features a fin design with larger ventilation, internally threaded tubes, and superior heat exchange efficiency. The implementation of corrugated aluminum fins minimizes cuts, reduces corrosion and dust collection, and extends the service life.
●Efficient and reliable hermetic compressor:
The unit is equipped with a renowned international brand hermetic scroll compressor that utilizes scroll axial and radial flexible technology, ensuring reliability and high efficiency. The inclusion of a check valve enhances safety, while the compressor’s large capacity, exceptional liquid impact resistance, and extended service life are notable features.
●Low-noise axial fan with aluminum alloy construction:
An integrated axial flow fan, crafted from aluminum alloy, produces a substantial airflow, delivering excellent aerodynamic performance. The unique tooth-edge design of the fan blades effectively controls air turbulence, minimizing cyclone effects and wind noise.
●Optimized water-side heat exchanger:
A stainless steel vacuum brazed plate heat exchanger, combined with a double system cross diagonal flow structure, ensures ample and efficient heat exchange.
●Precision throttling mechanism:
The unit incorporates a high-quality 480-class double electronic expansion valve, offering a wide range of regulation. It dynamically and in real-time adjusts to the actual load demand, enabling faster control speed and enhanced precision.
●Y-type water filter:
To safeguard the system’s performance and reliability, a 20-mesh Y-type filter is installed to prevent impurities from entering. Additionally, it facilitates the subsequent cleaning of the water system for added convenience.
Intelligent defrosting & constant water temperature
●Multiple choice
Either automatic defrosting or manual defrosting is available.
● Intelligent judgement
The unit can accurately judge the frosting situation through multivariable comprehensive evaluation so as to defrost when needed. At low ambient temperature, it can operate up to 180 minutes without frosting, creating longer heating time and higher comfort.
● Heating and defrosting without shutdown
In a system with multiple compressors or modular combination, the defrosting unit is less than 1/2 of the total number of systems, which can realize defrosting and heating simultaneously, so as to avoid fluctuation of water temperature and cold air blowing.
Through injection of the medium-pressure vapor and remixing with the partially compressed refrigerant for recompression, the Polestar EVI series air to water heat pump water heater can realize two-stage compression with a single compressor, which can increase the refrigerant flow in the condenser and the enthalpy dereference of the main cycle circuit, and thus greatly improve the efficiency of the compressor.
● Efficient economizer
On the one hand, air to water heat pump can increase the degree of undercooling of the main circuit refrigerant in front of the valve; on the other hand, heat pump hot water heaters can increase the degree of superheat of the auxiliary circuit refrigerant injection to the compressor, increase the system circulation and improve the performance of the system.
● Auxiliary circuit electronic expansion valve control
The auxiliary circuit is also controlled by a high-precision electronic expansion valve, with the advantages of a wider adjustment range, higher precision, faster reaction speed, and more stable system.
3 key designs for reliable defrosting
First design: One way-valve is set at the bottom of the heat exchanger
When heating, the one-way valve is closed without refrigerant passing to avoid frosting. When defrosting, the high-temperature refrigerant passes through the one way valve to defrost quickly.
Second design: Heat exchanger suspended from the bottom tray
Set a certain height distance difference between the bottom of the heat exchanger and the water tray to avoid ice accumulation, and quickly remove the condensed water during defrosting.
Third design: Water and electricity heating belt in heat exchange chassis
Automatically open at low temperature to prevent frost accumulation in the water tray and ensure smooth drainage.
